from Silhouette II models with heating capacities from 45,000
to 150,000 BTUH, for reliable comfort all winter long. |

SILHOUETTE® II PLUS 2 – 2-STAGE
GAS FURNACE features a new 2-stage gas valve that delivers
fuel to the burner at 1 of 2 rates to maintain the desired
temperature. On the coldest days, your Silhouette II Plus 2
will operate at 100% capacity. On other days, the furnace
operates at 70% capacity to help reduce energy bills. This
means that now you can have the best of both worlds.
Economical light-duty heating on cool days, and real
heavy-duty heating power when winter weather really sets in. |

delivers fuel to the burner at one of two rates to maintain
the desired temperature. On the coldest days, your Silhouette
II Plus 2 LXE will operate at 100% capacity and on cool days
at 70% capacity. This means that now you can have the
best of both worlds. Economical light-duty heating on cool
days, and real heavy-duty heating power when winter weather
really sets in. In addition, the Silhouette II Plus 2 LXE,
when properly matched, can raise your cooling efficiency by 1
full SEER point. |
